Perfect Match Auto does just what the name says: We find the perfect new or pre-owned vehicle you want, at a price that is less than you will find anywhere else. We realize that you have heard the same pitch a hundred times before from the guy in the plaid jacket with the slicked-back hair. How are we able to make such a claim and how are we any different than the local new or used car dealer?
Well, the traditional auto dealer pays a large amount of rent for their retail outlet, carries an expensive inventory of cars and has commissioned salespeople. We do not carry an inventory at all and we do not have any salespeople. You specify to us what car you want, the color, the options you desire and we find it for you.
Where do we find your new vehicle?
We are a licensed California broker for new vehicles. Over the past eight years we have developed relationships with large fleet departments around Southern California. We are able to source your vehicle at the best possible price. Just let us know exactly what you want and in most cases we can have it delivered to your home or office free of charge within 24 to 48 hours. You will spend 10 minutes signing paperwork and you are done. It is that simple! No more spending half the day at the dealership negotiating and trying to fight off all the hard sell offers for fabric protection or some useless extra the dealers make huge profits on.
We can have you financed at the best interest rates within hours. We also make sure that any rebates that are available at your time of purchase or lease are given to you.
If you would rather lease then purchase, we will negotiate the best lease terms on your behalf. There really is not a better to way to purchase or lease a new vehicle. We do all the work for you and have it delivered to your door step!

Where do we find your pre-owned vehicle?
We attend wholesale auto auctions all over Southern California and we have relationships with banks and leasing companies. The vast majority of cars we buy are one to four year old lease returns. Banks, finance companies and leasing companies finance all the leased cars in the U.S. When the lease ends they have to take the car back and sell it. Because they are financial institutions and not car dealers, they "wholesale" the cars to auctions and auto dealers. The car dealers clean them up and put them into inventory and "retail" them at thousands of dollars more than they paid for them. Lease returns are generally in very good condition, as dealers require that they be serviced according to the manufacturer's recommended service schedule. People returning leased cars are charged extra for any damage or excessive wear and tear to the vehicle so they tend to take good care of them.
What is the price difference between retail and wholesale?
Kelly Blue Book is the industry standard in determining used car values. Traditional car dealers generally sell their used vehicles at a price close to Kelly Blue Book Retail. We, on the other hand, sell the cars we find for you at a price much closer to Kelly Blue Book Wholesale. The difference between these two numbers is typically thousands of dollars. We can do this because we do not carry inventory and have minimal overhead.
How about a real life example of a car we recently purchased for a customer...
Treacy Somer is an actual person (and a good guy) that lives in Del Mar, CA. He came to us to find for him a 2006 Ford Explorer XLT with around 20,000 miles on it. He wanted leather interior, power windows, power seats, CD player, etc. and he wanted it in great condition. Retail blue book for his dream vehicle was $22,345 and wholesale was $18,500. We ended up finding Treacy a beautiful two year old 2006 Explorer with the above options and 21,000 miles on it for $18,000. He paid $2,500 to $4,000 less than what dealers and private parties were asking for the same vehicle.
Our goal is to sell to you as close to Kelly Blue Book Wholesale as possible and we will always be thousands less than Kelly Blue Book Retail.
What type of cars will we find for you?
Because we want you to be 100% satisfied with the car we sell to you, we only will locate and sell cars that have a minimum of 3,000 miles left on the manufacturer's warranty. For example, let's say you want a nice Lexus RX330. They have a manufacturer's warranty of 4 years or 50,000 miles. So the maximum miles we would consider in purchasing a Lexus would be 47,000 miles. We only buy cars that are in good to excellent condition with a good service history. As far as makes of vehicles, we will locate for you any brand and model you choose assuming it meets our strict criteria for overall condition. We perform a safety and quality inspection on every vehicle we purchase.
What geographic area do we cover?
We are located at 11839 Sorrento Valley Road, Ste. D in San Diego, CA. We typically serve only the Southern California market, but if you are coming to town in the future and are looking for a great car, please call us. We will also ship cars anywhere in the U.S. for an additional charge. Even with shipping costs, you still typically pay less than you would anywhere else.
